Greg Bear
Noted science fiction author Greg Bear was a visiting Nat C. Robertson Distinguished Professor in Science & Society during his Emory visit September 25-26, 2006. He presented an undergraduate seminar for the "Writing Science Fact and Fiction" class, conducted two workshops for graduate students, and presented a public lecture. For additional details of his visit to Emory, click here. Greg Bear is the author of more than thirty books of science fiction and fantasy, including BLOOD MUSIC, THE FORGE OF GOD, , and QUANTICO. Awarded two Hugos and five Nebulas for his fiction, one of two authors to win a Nebula in every category, Bear has been called the "Best working writer of hard science fiction" by "The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Science Fiction."
