Dr. David Suzuki
In spring of 2004, Dr. David Suzuki was invited to Emory to share his enthusiasm and experience in environmental and sustainability issues. As visiting Nat C. Robertson Distinguished Professor in Science & Society, Dr. Suzuki met with students and faculty in groups and during classes, as well as delivering a keynote address, ‘The Challenge of Sustainability: Setting the Real Bottom Line” and participating in panel discussion, “Genetically Modified Organisms: Our Genes, Our Future”. Dr. Suzuki, Chair of the David Suzuki Foundation, is an award-winning scientist, environmentalist and broadcaster. The author of more than thirty books, he is recognized as a world leader in sustainable ecology. He is well known to millions as the host of the popular science television series, “The Nature of Things”. His home is in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
